Methodology: how we review online casinos in Argentina
Every casino gets a score from 0 to 10 built from five criteria with fixed weights: licence and security 30%, payments 25%, bonuses 15%, games 15% and support 15%. We test with a real DNI-verified account, check the licence on the provincial regulator's register and publish the negatives. The ranking is not for sale.

The weights add up to 100%. The final score is the weighted average of each criterion's 0 to 10 rating.

What each criterion measures and why it carries its weight
The table above summarises the five criteria. The split is not arbitrary: licence and payments add up to 55% of the score because they are the only things that decide whether you will be able to withdraw your money. The bonus carries only 15% because a big bonus with x50 wagering is worth less than a small one with x20 wagering, and because in Argentina bonus conditions depend on what each provincial regulator allows.
Licence and security (30%). We look up the operator by name on the official register of the regulator of each
province where it says it is authorised: LOTBA (the Buenos Aires City lottery regulator) in Buenos Aires City, the
IPLyC (the Province of Buenos Aires lottery and casino institute) in the Province of Buenos Aires, Lotería de
Córdoba, the IPJyC in Mendoza, the IJAN in Neuquén and the bodies of the other provinces. We record the licence
number, the date we saw it and the provinces where it is valid. We check that the domain is .bet.ar, that the
operating company is identified and that deposit limits and self-exclusion exist. An operator that does not appear
on any Argentine register gets 0 on this criterion, regardless of its foreign licence. How to run that check

Deposits and withdrawals (25%). We deposit with Mercado Pago, a transfer to a CVU (the virtual account number used by digital wallets) or a debit card, record the real minimum deposit in pesos and, after playing, request a withdrawal to the same account. We measure the hours between the request and the money arriving. The casino that accepts more Argentine payment rails, pays in under 24 hours and charges no hidden fees or forced conversion to dollars scores better.
Bonuses and conditions (15%). We read the full terms: wagering, maximum bet while clearing, validity, excluded games and which provinces it applies in. We do not reward the amount; we reward conditions that are clear, in Spanish and free of confiscation clauses. The details of each offer are in the bonus guide.
Games and providers (15%). We count slots, tables and live rooms by provider, check that they are audited studios and that the RTP is published per game. A huge catalogue from unknown providers scores worse than a mid-sized one from Pragmatic Play, Evolution and similar.
Customer support (15%). We ask a specific question via chat (for example, how long a withdrawal to a CVU takes) and measure the response time and whether the answer helped. Chat in Spanish around the clock and a useful answer in under five minutes is the benchmark.
How we test, step by step
- Licence check. Before opening the account, we look up the operator on the provincial regulator's official register and record the date. If we cannot find it, the fact sheet says so: "not verified". An operator without a licence from any province is listed as "without a provincial licence" and is left out of the recommendations.
- Sign-up with a real account. We register with a DNI (national identity document) from a province where the operator is authorised and record what it asks for: DNI, address, selfie, proof of address. In Buenos Aires City we check whether the operator runs the child-support debtor check that LOTBA has required since September 2026 [VERIFICAR].
- Deposit. We load the minimum with an Argentine method and record how long it takes to appear and whether the operator withheld anything for the national tax on deposits.
- Play. We play slots, a table game and a live room to check loading, language and limits.
- Withdrawal. We request a withdrawal to the same account we deposited from and measure the hours until it arrives. If the operator asks for extra documents, we record it and mention it in the review.
- Bonus and support. We read the full bonus terms and send a timed chat question.
- Score. Each criterion gets a mark from 0 to 10 and the weighted average is the final score, rounded to one decimal place. While tests are missing, the review carries the "data under verification" label and pending values appear as [VERIFICAR], never made up.
How the provisional score is calculated today
While a fact sheet is under verification, each criterion is calculated with the same rule for every operator, whether or not we have a commercial deal with it, using only facts we have on record. What we have not measured yet adds nothing: that is why a licensed operator can sit below 6.0 until we complete the test with a real account.
- Licence and security: 8 for a provincial licence declared by the operator; +1 if it publishes the licence number and we checked it; +1 once we verify it on the regulator's register. No provincial licence: 0.
- Deposits and withdrawals: starts at 2; points for a peso balance (+2), Mercado Pago (+1.5), bank transfer (+1), debit card, digital wallets and cryptocurrencies (+0.5 each), a published minimum deposit (+0.5) and a measured withdrawal time (+1 if 48 hours or less, +0.5 if longer).
- Bonuses and terms: 4 if we do not know the wagering; 7 with wagering of up to x35 on the bonus; 5 with higher wagering or wagering on deposit + bonus. +0.5 if it publishes the maximum bet and the validity; −0.5 if we have only seen the offer from outside Argentina; −1 if its terms may exclude residents of Argentina.
- Games and providers: starts at 5; +1 for a live casino and +0.5 for each native app (Android, iOS).

The overall score is the weighted average with the weights above, rounded to one decimal place.

A score is never a promise. The licence we verify is the one we saw on a specific date, shown on the fact sheet; provincial regulators grant and revoke licences frequently, which is why we repeat the check every month.
Independence and money
This site is funded by affiliate commissions: if you open an account through our links, the casino pays us. That does not change the ranking order, which comes from the scores above. We list casinos we have no deal with (without an affiliate link), publish everyone's negatives and log every change in the page history. We never recommend an operator without a provincial licence to readers in Argentina, whether or not it has an affiliate programme. Frequently asked questions
What does a score of 8 out of 10 mean?
That the operator has a verified provincial licence, paid our withdrawal within the promised time and we found no abusive clauses in the bonus. Between 6 and 8 there is something to improve (slow withdrawal, high wagering, weak support), which we explain in the review. Below 6 we do not recommend it, even if it is licensed. While a fact sheet is under verification, what we have not measured yet adds nothing, so a licensed operator can have a low provisional score until we complete the test.
Do casinos pay to appear in the ranking?
No. We earn an affiliate commission if you open an account through our links, but the order comes from the scores and we list operators we have no deal with. No operator sees a review before it is published or can ask for a score to be changed.
How often do you update the reviews?
We check licences and official registers every month, and each full review every three months, or sooner if the operator changes its bonus or a payment method, or loses a licence. The update date only changes when something changed, and the page history says what.
Why does a casino with a Curaçao licence score so low on security?
Because in Argentina the licence that counts is the provincial one. An operator with a foreign licence and no authorisation from any Argentine regulator gets the minimum score for licence and security, carries the label "without a provincial licence" and is not recommended to readers in Argentina, however well it pays or however big the bonus.
