Every review, with filters by province and payment method, is in the casino index. If you live outside CABA or the Provincia de Buenos Aires, start with your province's guide: a Buenos Aires City licence is not valid in Córdoba or Mendoza.
Best casino by category
Picked automatically from the provincially licensed operators by their per-criterion score, not by hand.
"Best bonus" does not mean the biggest bonus: we score wagering, maximum bet and validity, not the amount. The terms of every offer are in the bonus guide.
Is it legal to play at an online casino in Argentina?
The short answer: yes, if the operator is licensed in your province. Argentina has no national online gambling law: each province regulates on its own. In the Ciudad de Buenos Aires the authority is LOTBA, in the Provincia de Buenos Aires it is IPLyC, and in Córdoba, Mendoza, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut or Tucumán it is each province's lottery or gaming body. Authorised operators use .bet.ar domains and check your DNI and address when you sign up.
Three things worth being clear about before you deposit. First: a CABA licence does not authorise the operator in the rest of the country; that is why every review lists the provinces where it is valid. Second: a province with a law on the books is not an open market until the regulator issues licences and operators are taking bets; the province-by-province guide tells the two situations apart. Third: a casino with a Curaçao or Malta licence but no provincial licence is not authorised in Argentina, and we label it that way.
How to check it yourself in two minutes is in how to tell whether a casino is licensed. The full framework, with taxes and dates, is in the legal guide.
Online casinos by province
8 of the 18 provinces we follow have a regulated and operating market. Those with only a law on paper, or the issue under debate, are in the province guide and labelled as such.
How we choose
Five criteria with fixed weights. Licence and payments make up 55% of the score and the bonus only 15%, because the first decides whether you get your money back and the second only how much playing costs you.
- 30%Licence and security
- Whether the operator holds a provincial licence, which regulator issues it, which provinces it covers, whether the number appears on the official register and what protection it offers the player.
- 25%Deposits and withdrawals
- Local methods available, minimum deposit in pesos, real withdrawal time measured by our team and fees.
- 15%Bonuses and terms
- We do not reward the amount but the clarity: wagering, maximum bet, validity, excluded games and the provinces where it applies.
- 15%Games and providers
- Real variety of slots, tables and live casino, and whether the providers are audited studios.
- 15%Customer support
- Live chat in Spanish, opening hours, and response time measured in our tests.
Every casino is tested with a real account opened with a DNI from a province where it is licensed: we deposit with Mercado Pago or a bank transfer, play, request a withdrawal and time how many hours it takes to arrive. We read the full bonus terms and ask the support chat something specific. While a test is unfinished, the review says "data being verified" and the value shows as [VERIFICAR], never made up.
We earn a commission if you open an account through our links. That does not move the ranking: the order comes from the scores, we list operators we have no deal with and we publish the downsides of all of them. Every change is logged with a date in the page history.

Frequently asked questions
Which online games can I play for real money?
Slots, roulette, blackjack, live casino and sports betting with real money, always at an operator licensed in your province. In the Ciudad de Buenos Aires they are authorised by LOTBA and in the Provincia de Buenos Aires by IPLyC; they use .bet.ar domains, ask for your DNI and address when you sign up and pay out in pesos. A site without a provincial licence is not authorised in Argentina, even if it lets you play.
Are online casinos legal in Argentina?
Yes, province by province. There is no national licence: each province decides whether to regulate online gambling and whom to authorise. Today there is an operating market in CABA, in the Provincia de Buenos Aires and in a handful of other provinces; in others a law has been passed but no operator is taking bets yet, and in some the issue is still under debate. Check your province's guide before you sign up.
What are the best online casinos in Argentina?
For us, the ones that meet three conditions: a provincial licence you can verify on the regulator's register, payments in pesos with Mercado Pago or a transfer to a CBU/CVU, and withdrawals that arrive within the promised time. The table above ranks the licensed operators by score; each review shows the score per criterion and what went wrong in our real-account test.
Which online casino accepts Mercado Pago?
Most provincially licensed operators let you deposit with Mercado Pago or by transfer to your CVU, and withdraw to the same account. We check it casino by casino and state it on each review and in the Mercado Pago casino guide. Be wary of WhatsApp or Telegram "casinos" that ask for Mercado Pago transfers to a personal account: they are unlicensed and are usually scams.
What are the best sports betting sites?
The same provincially licensed platforms in our ranking offer sports betting alongside the casino: Betano, Betsson, bplay, Codere and bet365, among others, depending on the province. This site reviews the casino side (games, payments, bonuses and support); the licence test applies just the same to betting on football.
Is Stake legal in Argentina?
Stake holds no licence from any Argentine province: it operates with a Curaçao licence, which is why our ranking lists it as "without a provincial licence" and we do not recommend it to readers in Argentina. If an operator does not appear on the official register of LOTBA, IPLyC or your province's body, it is not authorised, whatever foreign licence it holds.
