Why "in pesos" and "licensed" are the same thing

Provincial licences (LOTBA, the Buenos Aires City lottery regulator; IPLyC, the Buenos Aires Province lottery and casino institute; and the bodies of the other provinces) require the operator to collect and pay out in pesos, to Argentine accounts in the player's name, and to withhold the applicable taxes. That is why:

Illustrative example: you deposit ARS 20,000 with an operator licensed in the Provincia de Buenos Aires. With a 5% withholding, ARS 19,000 is credited. The peso, inflation and your casino balance

Playing in pesos carries a risk that does not exist in other countries: devaluation. If you leave ARS 100,000 sitting in a casino account for three months, it is worth less when you withdraw it. Three practical rules:

1. Deposit what you are going to play in the session, not a "fund" for the month.
2. Withdraw your winnings as soon as you meet the conditions (bonus wagering, verification).
