Licence and regulation: Frumzi shows no regulator at all

In Argentina, online gambling is regulated province by province. Frumzi's case is weaker than that of other foreign casinos we see in Argentina, because it publishes no licence from any regulator. Its footer only says, in English, that gambling can be addictive and that Frumzi.com accepts customers over 18 years of age only. There is no company name, licence number or regulator in the footer or in the general terms we reviewed. Some third-party sites attribute an operator or a licence to it that the brand itself does not publish; we do not treat that as valid.

What this means in practice:

• There is no regulator to complain to. If a withdrawal stalls or your account is closed, no provincial body can step in, and since Frumzi names no foreign regulator, there is no identified one abroad either.
• Provincial tools do not apply. The provinces' self-exclusion registers and the helplines a licensed operator must display do not bind Frumzi.
• Access can be cut off. A site without a licence can be blocked without notice, and whatever balance you hold is left to the operator's discretion.

To put the wagering in perspective: with a €100 deposit and a €100 bonus you have to bet 35 times €200, that is €7,000, within 10 days, without exceeding €100 per bet. It is a demanding requirement, and it is written in English.

What this means for an Argentine player:

What the facts table does not tell you

Why we give it this score
